A growing series of relevant, relational courses designed to help believers of Muslim background grow as disciples of Christ.
The Word of Life Curriculum is a growing series of relevant, relational discipleship courses designed especially for believers of Muslim background (BMBs). This is Word of Life’s contribution within a wider network of course providers called Paths of Life.
The WOL curriculum is being overseen by a core group with BMBs and representatives from different key organisations. Following initial planning and consultation, we are currently consulting BMB leaders about the shape of the curriculum, whilst we have also started work on the next courses to follow on from our first steps discipleship course Come Follow Me.
The courses in this curriculum will follow the same Study-Discuss-Apply methodology that is followed by Come Follow Me. This three part methodology is focussed not just on head knowledge but is educationally proven to bring whole life transformation, and is used by TEE organisations around the world.

Come Follow Me
A relational discipleship course for believers of Muslim background, available in multiple languages
Come Follow Me helps believers of Muslim background to grow in faith and maturity, examine their culture and beliefs in light of the Bible, and submit their lives to Jesus in every area.
They complete this relational discipleship course in a small group or 1:1 with an advisor, using printed books or our online GROWSPACE platform.

BMB Marriage
In collaboration with the Hikma Partnership, coming out of a Research Forum and Panel on the topic of marriage, a group of writers is currently working on a new course specifically for BMBs, addressing common challenges and teaching a biblical understanding of marriage as an important relationship pointing to Christ and the church.
The course touches on topics such as love, polygamy, sexual purity, homosexuality, singleness, domestic violence, communication and many more, seeking to bring biblical teaching and open up conversations through which deep discipleship and changed behaviour can occur.
This course will be available for pilot testing in late 2026.
Bible Overview
'God’s Plan and Our Purpose' is our first Old Testament course, tracing God’s story from Genesis to Joshua.
It’s designed especially for believers from a Muslim background (BMBs), helping them explore the big picture of Scripture and discover how their story fits into God’s plan.
Following the same clear, heart-focused approach as Come Follow Me, the course has been field tested in English, Bengali and Arabic.
Course Writer Training – 2026 Cohort
Increase Association, Word of Life and PathsofLife are organising the Course Writer Training (CWT) for those who would like to develop discipleship courses for their context.
This training helps participants learn how to develop courses that are rooted in the Bible, focused on building skills, and designed to bring real change. The process begins in March 2026 and includes online workshops as well as a face-to-face workshop.
Participation in the training is by invitation, and organisations are encouraged to identify suitable participants who are committed to developing a course during the process.
