Theme: “Fellow citizens in God’s household” – BMB Experiences in the Global Church

Join our gathering of partners, experts and leaders in the field of BMB discipleship

We are very excited about being together again as a group, sharing prayer and worship, and hearing from each other on BMB discipleship research and creative projects.

For 2025 we have chosen to focus on exploring the topic of BMBs relationship with church. We expect to hear from some BMB leaders about their experiences and to have rich, inspiring and stimulating discussions together as we seek to understand how this differs in different contexts, find out what has helped BMBs integrate into church and think more about how we can help both the churches and the BMBs to learn and grow together.

You can expect:

• deep conversations exploring the unique experiences of BMB brothers and sisters within historic and established churches
• global perspectives as we consider how different contexts around the world shape these experiences
• interactive sessions where we discuss together what helps with BMB inclusion and growth, and identify the barriers that need to be overcome

Highlights will include:

• reflections on our journey so far: we’ll share key activities and outputs from Hikma’s first three years (research and dissemination, gatherings, publications, teaching and mentoring) and what partners have been doing and discuss our future plans
• networking opportunities: time and space to build lasting relationships with brothers and sisters from across the BMB world

BOOKING HAS NOW CLOSED. If you are interested in attending this event please contact us via info@word.org.uk and we will confirm if spaces are still available.
