Hikma
Part of Word of Life's vision is to help believers of Muslim background to be heard in the global church.
Our Hikma team creates platforms and opportunities for BMBs to share their work, offer their insights and teach others from their lived experience and research. We do this through research, mentoring, collaboration and publishing.
Word of Life currently hosts the Hikma Partnership, bringing people together across networks to reflect, research, create and learn from one another. We connect BMB researchers, writers and creatives with mentors and collaborators, and help open pathways for their work to be shared more widely.
The Hikma Partnership is a group of Christian leaders and ministers of a Muslim background with mature mission partners with substantial experience in training and discipling amongst believers from a Muslim background, working together with a vision of:
- Encouraging and guiding BMBs to research and write as a contribution to their own cultural contexts and for the world church. Research may include sharing about BMB discipleship issues, perspectives and stories, and be at academic, non-academic and practical levels, both in and for the BMB context.
- Sharing this research and writing around the world, amplifying the voice of BMBs in the global church.

and as e-books.
Our database of BMB discipleship research, courses and resources is available from the Hikma Partnership website.
We are working on a mentoring programme, linking BMB writers and creators with experienced editors or colleagues to help complete projects. Please contact us for more information.
