Leadership Update – Word of Life
We are delighted to share how God is leading Word of Life forward in his season. Over the past year, our Board has prayerfully considered how best to strengthen our senior leadership team, and we are thankful to announce the next steps/ now share the outcome of this process?
Introducing Soroush and Jenni
Soroush has been a part of Word of Life since 2024, and during this time his love and service for Believers from a Muslim background (BMBs) has been a great encouragement. His leadership has grown steadily as he has served across different areas of our ministry, and his heart for discipleship keeps the needs of BMBs firmly at the centre. With experience in cross-cultural contexts and a deep concern for people, he has been a blessing both to Word of Life as a community and to the individuals and families within it.
Jenni has been with Word of Life since before its formal beginning and has faithfully served in Muslim communities as well as through her leadership of the Courses track. Under her guidance, what began with a handful of Come Follow Me languages has grown into a diverse and expanding curriculum. Her steady encouragement, strategic vision, and commitment to BMB discipleship have provided one of the strong foundations on which Word of Life is built.
Together, Jenni and Soroush have shown deep love for BMBs, care for the wider Word of Life team, and a commitment to seeing discipleship flourish. Their leadership gifts have grown among us, and we trust they will continue to be shaped by the Lord in the years to come.
From October 2025, Jenni and Soroush will join David as Associate Directors, serving alongside Tim who continues as Director. This strengthened leadership team will help guide Word of Life into the future, and enable us to keep discipleship among BMBs at the centre while continuing to grow and flourish.
