My story: how God is changing me through Word of Life

"By working with this team, I got a detailed idea about God’s future plan for BMBs around the world," writes M, one of our newest team members. "I am now involved with the bible course writers team... [and] I can use my skills and experience for helping the BMB to grow in maturity and fulfilling the great commission.”

As Word of Life’s work has expanded, we have been looking to God to give us more team members to support the work. From managing translations, arranging training and mentoring BMB authors and writers, there is plenty to do! We have been so blessed to have brothers and sisters from Muslim backgrounds in different contexts join us.

M previously worked for an NGO in South Asia, and has substantial project management skills. After working with the course writers team, she recently joined to help develop and manage our growing curriculum of courses.

R is based in an eastern Mediterranean country, after serving as a pastor in two different contexts. He is working across the tracks on specific projects, supporting the teams with his wide experience. “I love to see BMBs empowered to live godly lives and reaching the lost in their communities and beyond,” he writes, “My passion for discipling BMBs started from being discipled in my home country by those willing to make huge sacrifices to do what God had called them to – to walk on the journey of faith with me as mothers and fathers.”

We are passionate about raising BMB voices in the church, and actively looking to find and train BMB leaders. Please pray with us that God helps our non-Western staff settle in with us. It can be challenging working far from colleagues and managing workflow from afar.
