Paths of Life

Paths of Life is a network of organisations and individuals producing and using discipleship resources for believers of Muslim backgrounds (BMBs).

Networking, collaborating and resourcing discipleship for believers of Muslim background (BMBs)

Paths of Life is currently hosted by Word of Life, but is a genuine partnership for mutual resourcing, collaboration, and communication, led by a steering group.

Paths of Life collates and communicates up-to-date  information on Resources and courses for BMB discipleship in different languages from many providers worldwide through our database.

Network members receive regular communication about new resources, tools and courses, can share resourcing needs and points for prayer, and will receive invites to Paths of Life Network events.

Through our connection to Hikma Partnership, PoL members can access to the latest BMB research and can connect course writers to BMB researchers, helping them to deeply understand the needs of BMBs and produce quality discipleship resources to meet them.

EVENTS

The Paths of Life 2025 gathering was a unique opportunity to gather with resource, training and curriculum providers for believers of Muslim background (BMBs).

As the BMB church around the world grows, we recognise an increasing need for training pathways and resources to help BMBs grow from first steps in faith through to servant leadership.

This gathering aimed to help us learn about existing resources, connect and collaborate with others working towards BMB discipleship, equip us for new course and curriculum development, and facilitate discussion on challenges facing us today. It included the following topics:

  • Challenges to equipping the church
  • Scripture engagement
  • Developing relevant resources in a digital age
  • Course design, development and accreditation
  • BMB Leadership development

Paths of Life network members can read a full report on these sessions.
