Seeking God’s direction for the year ahead

Most of the Word of Life team works from different countries, so our day-to-day communication happens through Zoom calls, emails and messages. Once a year, though, we have the opportunity to meet face to face. It is a chance to worship together, spend time in Scripture, pray, encourage one another and seek God’s direction for the work ahead.
In June, most of our staff team and trustees met in Tbilisi, Georgia. During our time together, we looked back at God’s faithfulness, shared updates from across the ministry and began planning for 2027. We also spent time thinking about our values, learning together and meeting with partner ministries in the region.

For a team spread across the world, these few days together make a real difference. They help us build stronger relationships, have conversations that are difficult to fit into online meetings, and spend time listening to God together before returning to our different roles and countries.

As we now continue developing our plans for the year ahead, we would love you to pray with us.

Please pray:

– that we would listen carefully to God’s leading and have wisdom as we make decisions;
– that we would identify the right opportunities to work with churches, organisations and networks around the world;
– that God would provide the people, skills and financial resources needed for both current and future projects; and
– that everything we do would help strengthen Christ’s followers of Muslim background and the churches that welcome and support them.

Thank you for praying for Word of Life. We are grateful for your partnership as we look ahead to the next season of ministry.
