Earlier this year we held two events to celebrate the publishing of the new Urdu Edition of Come Follow Me.

The ‘International Launch’ was attended by around 40 people working with believers from a Pakistani Muslim background from around the world, from North America to Pakistan to Malaysia. During the launch, Tim Green introduced the course and the new translation, thanking those involved in completing it. We also heard from our partners in Pakistan who had already used the course there about how they had found the course so relevant for BMBs. We prayed for future course users, and our Associate Director wrapped up with more background about Word of Life.

A second 'Urdu Taster' event was held for those who are based in Pakistan, attended by around 20 people from different organisations working with BMBs there. In addition to an introduction to the course materials through a group discussion time, there was also a chance to try out the digital platform for the course and learn how that might be used in situations where books are not accessible or safe.

Both these events were a great success, helping build more awareness about the Urdu Come Follow Me and also equipping people with this great tool. We also ran follow up training for advisors, which was attended by 18 participants.
