We bring what we have

One of Word of Life's key values is working by partnership, so we function with a small team and without an office base. We offer the Lord our hands and feet and pray he uses us to grow his kingdom. Like the child with the five loaves and two fish, we have seen over and over again how God has multiplied the work we do, through providing partners across the world who understand and support our vision to share the work with us.

“We like Word of Life’s focus on partnerships - we want to see BMBs themselves growing as healthy disciples, so we like the way Word of Life encourages them to lead."

“From the beginning I have seen how the passion and vision the team have leads them to look for the places God is at work. They seek out others to work together to do more than each could alone. Word of Life is not about promoting our names but about working for the kingdom and extending the global church.”

“I was impressed by the team, who whole-heartedly love the Lord and want to see his kingdom come amongst brothers and sisters in the Muslim world. As an educator I was also impressed by the quality of the resources and the emphasis on hearing from BMBs and promoting their voices in the church. It’s a joy to serve with this group and watch how the Lord is blessing its ministry worldwide.”

One example of partnerships is our Hikma track’s publishing pathway. The team bring together experienced editors with authors to support them in completing their manuscript, and then facilitate the publishing process through Regnum Books.

Our next book is due very soon! From Conflict to Hope: Voices from Emerging Indigenous Leaders of North African, Middle Eastern and Iranian Christians has been produced from the discussions at a consultation for BMB church leaders about what it looks like to follow Christ and the challenges involved in cutting a new path that will not be understood by the majority of the people.

“This book presents this daring and honest material to a wider audience in the hope and expectation that it will contribute to the development of healthy, vibrant fellowships in many contexts,” says co-editor Roy Oksnevad.

You can invest in the future by volunteering or working with us, praying for our work or giving towards our ministry expenses.
